Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the OS Engine macOS app and the associated website and services (collectively, the "Service"). By purchasing, downloading, or using OS Engine, you agree to these Terms.

License

Upon purchase, you receive a personal, non‑exclusive, non‑transferable license to use OS Engine. The license is for one user and one device seat unless otherwise stated. You may install updates for the covered major version as indicated at purchase.

Purchases and refunds

• Payments are processed by Stripe. Taxes may apply depending on your location.
• Refunds: We offer a good‑faith 7‑day refund if the app does not work for you. Contact support@osengine.org with your receipt.
• Fraud or abuse may void eligibility for refunds.

Delivery

After payment, you can download the DMG immediately via the receipt link. A license file may also be emailed to you using our email provider for transactional messages.

Acceptable use

• Do not reverse engineer, redistribute, or resell the app or license file.
• Do not use the Service to violate applicable laws or third‑party rights.

Intellectual property

OS Engine and all associated materials are owned by their respective rights holders and are protected by copyright and other laws. No rights are granted except as expressly stated in these Terms.

Updates and changes

We may update the Service and these Terms from time to time. We will post updates on this page with a new effective date. Continued use after changes means you accept the revised Terms.

Disclaimers

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non‑infringement. We do not warrant that the Service will be uninterrupted or error‑free.

Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, in no event will we be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, revenue, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the Service.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws applicable in your place of residence unless a different applicable law is required. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts with proper jurisdiction.
