Your privacy matters. This policy explains what personal data OS Engine collects, how we use it, and your choices. This website and backend are operated for the macOS app “OS Engine”.

Information we collect

• Payment information (via Stripe). When you purchase the app, we use Stripe to process the payment. We do not receive or store your full card details. We may receive limited information from Stripe such as your email, the payment intent ID, and payment status.
• Email address. We may obtain your email from Stripe to send your download link and license file. We may also use it to provide support if you contact us.
• Server logs. Our servers may log minimal technical information (e.g., IP address and request metadata) to operate the service and prevent abuse.
• No in‑app telemetry. The macOS app does not send analytics or usage telemetry.

How we use information

• Process your purchase and provide access to the download.
• Generate and deliver your license file.
• Provide customer support and respond to inquiries.
• Operate, secure, and improve the website and service.

Service providers

We use trusted third‑party services solely to operate OS Engine:

• Resend for transactional email (e.g., license delivery) — see resend.com.
• Hosting for the website and downloads (e.g., CDN/storage). Providers may change over time; we limit data shared to what’s necessary.

Cookies and tracking

We do not use analytics trackers. Essential cookies or caching may be used by the hosting platform to operate the site.

Data retention

We retain personal data only as long as needed to provide the service and comply with legal obligations. Payment records are retained as required for accounting. Transactional email records may be kept to ensure delivery and fraud prevention.

Children

OS Engine is not directed to children under 13 and we do not knowingly collect their data.
